About once every 1-3 months or so (infrequently) for at least a couple years I have experienced this weird pain deep in my anus that will only go away if I go through the motions of a bowel movement (whether or not I pass stool) this revieves the pain. Top scales are smooth, not keeled On each side there are 14 black scales just above the bottom, running from the head to the middle of the back. They are equally spaced except for the last 3 or 4 which are double spaced. I only counted one side. I did not count the number of scales lengthwise, but based on the size of top to bottom scales, and estimating both by the number of bands I estimate 210 to 240. Bottom is white with black bands. Bands on bottom scales are often broken in the middle. 68 bands by counting one side. It could be up to 76 because I counted bands as one even if they were three times as wide as normal. most bands were only the width of one scale Anal plate appears divided but hard to see, tail scales are divided. |

I hope you realize most publishers, agents and editors utilize 'query letters' before looking at any sample of a manuscript. To find out more about "How To Publish"...Suggest you read the section of the same name in "The Writer's Market." It will tell you how write a good query (with examples of 'good' and 'bad') and includes many tips by experts in the field, including writers, publishers, editors, agents, "Predators and Editors" and a whole lot more. If you can't afford a current copy, suggest you study that first section at a public library: make notes, copy relevant pages there... know it very very well.
